WeeTok Safety and Civility Guidelines
General Principles:

No violent threats, promotion of violence, or criminal activities are allowed. We report credible threats to law enforcement.
Hate Speech and Hateful Behavior
Hate speech and promotion of hateful ideologies are not allowed. This includes content attacking people based on protected attributes like race, gender, or religion.

WeeTok Teen Privacy and Safety Settings
Private Account
Ages 13-15: Accounts are set to private by default. Only approved followers can see your content, and others can't duet, stitch, or download your videos.
Ages 16-17: You can choose between a private or public account. Private accounts work the same as above. Public accounts allow anyone to see and share your content, depending on your privacy settings. Account Suggestions: Ages 13-17: Your account is not suggested to others by default. You can change this in your settings.
Video Downloads
Ages 13-15: Video downloads are turned off and cannot be changed.
Ages 16-17: Downloads are off by default. You can turn them on if you have a public account.
Direct Messages
Ages 13-15: Direct messaging is not available.
Ages 16-17: Direct messaging is set to "No one" by default. You can change this to allow messages from friends or suggested friends.
Duets and Stitches:
Ages 13-15: Others can't duet or stitch with your videos. This setting cannot be changed.
Ages 16-17: If your account is private, others can't duet or stitch with your videos. If your account is public, friends can duet or stitch, and you can change this to allow everyone or no one.
Comments
Ages 13-15: Only friends can comment on your videos. You can change this to "No one" in your settings.
Ages 16-17: For private accounts, followers can comment. For public accounts, everyone can comment. You can adjust these settings.
Stickers:
Ages 13-15: Others can't create stickers from your videos.
Ages 16-17: For private accounts, others can't create stickers. For public accounts, friends can create stickers, and you can adjust this in your settings.
