1. Basic Requirements:
 Law enforcement requests must be sent to the correct WeeTok entity based on the user’s
location.
 Requests should be submitted via our webform with necessary documents in English.
2. Types of User Data:
 WeeTok can provide subscriber information (e.g., username, email), log-in data, interaction
data, and content data (e.g., videos, comments).
 Each request must specify the type of data needed and the legal basis for it.
3. Making a Request:
 Requests must be on official letterhead, signed, and include the details of the law enforcement
authority, the user account, the data needed, and the legal basis.
 Broad or unclear requests will be rejected.
4. User Notifications:
 WeeTok usually notifies users before disclosing their data, unless it's prohibited by law or could
jeopardize an investigation.
5. Preservation Requests:
 WeeTok can preserve user data for 90 days upon request. Extensions are possible for an
additional 90 days.
6. Emergency Requests:
 In emergencies, WeeTok may provide data to prevent harm if there is a valid legal basis.
7. Other:
 Requests from law enforcement outside WeeTok’s jurisdiction may require a Mutual Legal
Assistance Treaty (MLAT).
 Law enforcement must handle the data according to relevant laws, including data protection
laws.
